Dear clients, families, and colleagues of Willow Creek Counseling Associates, LLC, this letter is an update on the policies and procedures at our office related to COVID-19.


We know that this is a stressful time for everyone as we all try our best to navigate our way through COVID-19 and everything that this health crisis brings with it. There have been many changes in the last few weeks and months and we want you to be aware of the following policies and procedures now in effect at Willow Creek Counseling Associates, LLC. 


We continue to offer sessions in-person and over tele-health during the COVID-19 outbreak. 


  • For the health of our staff and other clients, facial coverings are required for any in-person session.  If it is not possible for you to wear a facial covering during your appointment, you are encouraged to engage in tele-health sessions. 

  • We HIGHLY encourage you to monitor your health and if in doubt please call to change your appointment to tele-health or cancel your in-person session. 

  • Please do not bring guests or additional family members with you to in-person appointments as they will not be able to stay in the clinic during your appointment.


We continue to clean and disinfect high traffic areas (door handles, light switches, desktops, phones) throughout the day. We are engaging in social distancing practices, wearing facial coverings, and engaging in good hygiene practices, such as appropriate hand washing. Please note that due to the nature of play therapy, social distancing may not always be possible. 


If you choose to engage with in-person therapy, we want you to feel as comfortable as possible. However, we must acknowledge that any interaction outside of your own home with other people will increase your risk of being exposed to COVID-19. Therefore, engaging in in-person therapy sessions will increase your risk of exposure.


We also ask that if you are receiving in-person services that you notify the clinic if you become aware of being exposed to COVID-19 or test positive for COVID-19. This notification will be kept confidential but will allow the clinic to alert admin staff, clinical staff and other clients of exposure potential (especially in the case of a positive COVID-19 test). 


Again, we understand that this is an uncertain time, as individuals, families and businesses are working to makes choices that are in their best interest and in the best interest of the community at large. We appreciate your cooperation in working to make Willow Creek Counseling Associates, LLC as safe as we possibly can for you, our staff, and other clients.
